Clean, but older state park. Short sites, many unlevel. Don't know about the 40ft access, maybe!!! Quiet, cool, shady. A ways from town, probably better suited for a weekend or longer stay rather than an overnight. For us it was close to relatives and "old" friends. Only major complaint is the dump station. Located on a less than 2 lane access road, at top of rise in a slow corner, and the hookups are on the wrong side of RV if using when leaving!! AND, no water at dump. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
This park has some fishing piers and a swimming beach. They have horse camp sites also. The sites were smaller than most Minnesota State Park. The dump station was on the wrong side of the road when you dump on your way out. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
