This is actually a decent park set up like a running track right off the highway. The problem here, like much of Clovis, is that it is right on the railroad track and when the wind blows from the south the smell from the stockyards is nauseating. Nice enough park but just skip Clovis because I don't think you can escape trains and livestock issues anywhere in this area. Decent Wi-Fi and a nice fenced dog run. Also have a small, covered picnic area. Unfortunately, that is the only shade. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
Stayed here 2 nights. The train noise is very minimal. Next week the Quiet Zone will be in affect: so no train whistles at all!! Very spacious sites, lush grass at every site. Very clean bathrooms and showers. Paved roads a plus. Great pull through sites and large dog park that we felt very comfortable letting dogs run in. Kudos to this new park!! Good Luck!!! Happy travelers. We camped here in a Motorhome.
If you like loud trains you will love this RV park located next to busy tracks. My husband timed the klaxon shrieks at the nearby crossing: 6 minutes between trains. I thought "How can so many trains be coming through?" until we saw an aerial view of the five tracks next to the park. I'm pretty peeved at the reviewer who gave this park 10 stars. Is he/she deaf? The showers are wonderful, but that does not make up for the lack of sleep. I wish the owner well with their new venture. They will need it. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Brand new modern RV park, only open 2 weeks when we stayed here. Looks like a lot of money and effort have gone into it. Great place to watch the sunset and the trains roll by. Clovis cools off nicely at night. Park has newly planted trees and grass. We camped here in a Motorhome.
