This is absolutely a wonderful find for a RV park. The park is located on a 500 foot bluff over looking the Cove, Harbor and open sea. The manager is a great person to deal with and very friendly. We had planned on staying a couple of days and ended up staying two weeks. It was hard to leave this park as we daily saw whales, icebergs and dolphins from our site. The park also has several walking trails, one leading up another several hundred feet to a lookout with beautiful view of the area. The site only had 20 amp electric and water, but the park does have a dump station. Not only was the park friendly, by the whole town of La Scie was also. This is the number one spot we have stayed at in our seven years of fulltiming. Yes, we'll be back. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
This small campground owned by the town has a striking view of the sea and wonderful hiking trails and overlooks where fishing boats pass by and icebergs, birds and whales are often spotted. A trail down leads to a rocky beach. It has 9 serviced sites with picnic tables and fire rings. There are laundry facilities, a men's and a women's bathroom, picnic area and small playground. We loved our site here on the Baie Verte Peninsula on the French Shore. Only cash accepted. We camped here in a Motorhome.
