Kofa National Wildlife Refuge sits off Highways 10 and 95 near Quartzsite. Excellent dry camping - not another soul there when we were there - we drove in off Highway 10. I understand the entrance off Highway 95 is the more popular and probably more crowded. Lots of cacti in a high desert landscape. Be careful of where you walk your dogs because of the cacti. Vehicles with low clearance could have problems on the gravel/dirt roads but we were fine in our 24' class C. You can camp anywhere within 100' of any road. Wilderness at its best. We camped here in a Motorhome.
