Totally adequate and pleasant. It's not a resort, but we weren't looking for one. Stayed one night only. Good Sam discount. Were we staying to visit in Dallas rather than passing through, it would be fine for several days or a week. Restrooms/laundry were exceptional for cleanliness. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
Nice CG. Far enough away from the interstate that noise was not a problem. Big grassy area for our dog. Many perm residents but all sites neat and tidy. A good stop. From the north was a bit hard to find the entry, from south no problem. Would stay here again if passing thru. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
This is our second time here in 4 months. This park is located right off of Hwy 287 and convenient for travelers needing an overnight stop. This park would also be good for people who need a place to stay for awhile. Sites are long enough to keep your tow attached. The hostess is very nice and helpful. She goes out of her way to be accommodating. Although this park does not have cable, we had no problems picking up over 10 channels with our antenna. Also, this park has a by nice pavilion area. Probably one of the cleanest parks we've stayed in. Would stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Gravel roads. Needs signs to indicate which road is for entry and exit. Looks like almost all sites are pull through with full hook-ups. Reasonably level. No tables, fire pits, or shade. Electric was ok. WiFi terrific. Water requires pressure reducer. Fishing pond a big plus. Great location. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Very nice park, staff was great !! Little pricey on a monthly basis but it did include all electric!! My only complaint is, it's a large open field with no wind breaks, has train tracks in the back and large 4 lane highway in front,,,, very noisy!!! Can not have camp fires at all due to its location!! Good for a short stay over!! WiFi is weak at best!!!! We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
