We spent two nights in site 53, a level large site backed by woods. Overall this park is green, shady, and clean. Nice little lake/beach area with a lifeguard. Staff are friendly, nights are quiet, and the rangers do rounds regularly. Unfortunately we won't be back because unlike 85% of US State Parks and 100% of US National Parks, CT state parks are NOT pet friendly, and we are unable to leave our dog home alone. Otherwise we'd be here for multiple stays. The rate is a state-resident rate. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
