Road noise was very bad. Couldn't fish in the lake due to floating algae. Planning to get it cleaned out this year. Would stay there again, but ask for site further away from hwy 31. We camped here in a Motorhome.
We stayed at Lake Sch-Nepp-A-Ho Campground over the Fourth of July Weekend. We had a very pleasant experience. Our grandchildren had a wonderful time swimming and fishing. We found the campground and restrooms were kept very clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful and patrolled the park at night. They even picked up our trash at our site. There is a bit of highway noise from the expressway, but over all, a very nice and clean campground and we highly recommend them. Our family has already made arrangements to return. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

I did not enjoy my stay here. I was ready to leave after the first night. The dump station was poorly kept and sloped away from the drain so my tanks took for ever to empty properly (if they even emptied completely). The lake was okay, although I would not swim in it. Dump service (aka the Honey Wagon) was expensive and they did not do weekenders. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
No full hooks ups. The restrooms and showers were horribly unclean and there was only
one on the grounds. The dump station was not level so my tanks would not completely empty. Charged $6-$10 for dump service. Pull thru site was not at all
level. They even charged a $5 reservation fee! We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
