A nice campground. It is in the middle of town, but it doesn't feel like it since it is nestled under pine trees. I recommend it for anyone looking for a convenient place to stay in town. We camped here in a Motorhome.
State operated park gets high marks because of its proximity to the resort Village of Lake George with all attractions and many restaurants in walking distance. Two beaches, lake cruises, and fort tours similarly close by. Park staff is friendly and some sites can accommodate larger RVs. In the center of town, but once there you would never know it since park is surrounded by pines on three sides. Great, inexpensive location to spend a couple of days taking advantage of all the Village has to offer. We camped here in a Motorhome.
