Very small (8 sites) but perfect-for-our-needs RV park. The owner was the perfect owner/host. On a small working farm (chickens, eggs, veggies - all can be bought - and flowers). Adjacent to extensive walking/biking canyon trail system and only a few km to the Myra Canyon "railway trestles/tunnels" hiking/biking trail - a great attraction. East of downtown Kelowna and adjacent to Gallagher's Canyon 18 hole golf course (10th fairway) so no noisy neighbours - very peaceful. Gallagher's 9-hole Pinnacle course is at the corner. Other golf courses near by. Close to several wineries. Close to bus transit access (which take bikes). Good Wi-Fi. Spotless park area, bathrooms and showers. Would definitely stay here again as a base for Okanagan valley touring. Rate of $39 was the off-season rate. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
Beautiful sites separated by trellises of grape vines. Owner has beds of beautiful flowers which she sells as well as vegetables from her garden, eggs and chicken. We purchased frozen chicken thighs and breasts from her and they were delicious. As noted below, the Wi-Fi was really strong - best of our trip. Located near golf and vineyards. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This is a small but awesome RV park on the east side of Kelowna. As other commenters have noted it is part of a working farm. The owner was super friendly and allowed our kids to help her pick eggs in the morning. Kids loved seeing the chickens and feeding them. It's a short walk to some great hiking/biking areas and about 15 min from downtown Kelowna. Restroom/laundry were clean and tidy and the owner was super friendly, as were the young folks she had working with her! We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
Though called a farm it could also be called a garden. Flowers are in bloom everywhere. The park is well maintained and spotlessly clean. The side by side spaces are generous with gravel drives for RV and car, and a grass area with room for their picnic table and our chairs. The owners are welcoming and friendly. It is simply all we could hope for in a park. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Rate reflects a monthly rate; daily rate is $39. Park is part of a small farm (eggs and some veggies) and is probably one of the more unique and delightful parks we have stayed at. All sites are pull-thru, spacious, and level. Services (power a constant 121-123 volts) were great and Wi-Fi was very strong. Lots of biking and hiking opportunities. Many golf courses to choose from. Very quiet park. We fed produce peelings to hens and they sell the pastured eggs at a great price. If it were not for winter conditions arriving, we would have stayed longer. Rating this park less than a 10 would be an injustice. Definitely will return again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
This park is special. Sites are generous, level and gravel with grass and a picnic table. Sites are separated by trellised grape vines. Owner delivers still warm, freshly laid eggs to your door upon request. We purchased one of her free range chickens and produce from her gardens. Golf, wineries and orchards surround the property. Please note you must reserve early as they are booked already for July and August 2014. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
Outstanding little park. Spotless washrooms and shower. Fast WiFi. Full hook ups at each immaculate spot. Super friendly and accommodating operator. Fresh produce on site. Hard to beat this one. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
Wonderful place to stay with brand new showers (free) and laundry facilities. You can feed the chickens on your way in or out. It is within short walking distance of "canyon" hiking trail. Free Wi-Fi, no cable, but you can get two OTA HD TV channels on your roof antenna. When returning to Kelowna, we will stay here again. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
