This high desert campground has two new camper cabins and nicely spaced back-in and pull-through sites for all sizes of rigs. Despite the warning sign about sequester-caused cuts in maintenance, the campground was fairly well manicured and very clean. The camp hosts were active (a little bit too active, in our opinion, as they were out at 6 AM talking in their outdoor voices) and sold ice and firewood. Views of the lake were probably once very nice, but the lake is very, very low and mostly muddy shored. Most folks were there for the rainbow trout fishing; not anything in the way of boating or swimming. One little half-mile trail and that was pretty much all there was to do here. No services in the area, either, so arrive stocked up. Do note the dump station, though. We've never seen one landscaped quite like this before. We camped here in a Motorhome.
