Iooking for something different? Black Diamond ranch is unlike your run of the mill RV park. If you like quaint and charming, hoses, pigs, chickens and llamas, you have come to the right place. You will not be expected to keep your dog tethered, but if he harasses the livestock he will be taken to task by the resident border collies. You are greeted by the charming owner. Coldwater creek runs by your window. Numerous trails abound. You are invited to tour the ranch and befriend the residents. Good 30 amp power and water, but come in with empty tanks. We loved it and will be back. Don't be put off by the "rustic" entrance. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

This is a gem in the rough that is improving all the time. There are 8 large sites with services, a huge open area for tents, and a small cabin. The ranch has horses, lama, turkeys, chickens, a donkey, and coyotes that howl at night. All of these combined with the playground and group fire pit areas make it a wonderful place for families to visit. Although nestled in the mountains just off the Coquihalla Highway, and 20 minutes south of Merritt, cell phone reception is great. There is one public washroom, one public pit toilet. and one free public shower. No laundry facilities are available. We were not able to get local TV on our roof top antenna. We would stay here again if we were passing through. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
