Members of the Elks only may camp here. There is a large, covered area with picnic tables and multiple BBQ s for a group or party. I was cautioned that sites furthest away from the restrooms may have insufficient current to power an A/C unit. Their electric is faulty and they have it on their list to repair. No showers. About half the sites were pull through and could easily accommodate a long rig. Sites though were very close to each other. Sites were not all even or flat. Site gravel was sparse and in need of replenishment. No tables or equipment at each site. Electric box receptacle has no trip or on/off switch. Tall trees nearby provide shade (and antenna interference), but would not shade each site completely. People were exceptionally friendly and hospitable as are most Elks everywhere. We camped here in a Motorhome.
We stayed here in the early part of September and had very hot outside temps. The 30A power was the absolute worst that we have encountered in almost 13 years of fulltiming. Of the 17 FHU sites, only 5 were occupied. Thankfully, we were visiting relatives, so we didn't have to stay there during the day, as we knew that the power would not stay on consistently. The sites are very unlevel, back-to-back or side-by-side. We will not stay there again. We camped here in a Motorhome.
