The managers seem to try hard but it seems you get what you pay for. This RV park is pretty rustic overall. The camp store is nice. There seem to be many seasonal visitors who come year after year and enjoy fishing and tubing. With small children, the fast-running creek was a little scary and for big children, too muddy. We saw wasps and a snake at the playground, which was so rundown it really didn't deserve to be there. Coin-operated showers were more than half a mile up a hill so we did not use them. Pit toilets right by the campsite with cold water sinks. Our pull-through was pretty tight with a 40' rig, but it worked fine - it just tore up the grass a little bit. Our campsite had a regulator on the water spigot where you would have to keep holding it for it to stay on, but after asking our host he came and helped us jam it to stay open. We stayed about three rows back from the stream. In general we found the park muggy and dank; the ground is squishy and never seems to dry out. With the downsides of this place plus about 30 minutes from the main Lancaster County attractions, we wished we had spent more money at another park closer to those. If you stay here, make sure you check the web site for directions; there is one way with a covered bridge an RV could NEVER go through, and there was some construction along the other route as well at the time we visited which required careful routing. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
