This is an "OK" RV park. It was a little hard to find, but once we found it, we were fine. Only had about 25% of campsites full. Park is run by a delightful couple. All sites appeared to have full hookups. Sites are on grass and with recent rains, there were several low lying areas that held water and made for a muddy trek. View of Lake Marion was gorgeous! We peeked in the shower/restrooms, and they are very outdated. No AC or fans to help move humid air. There is a pier that you can fish from. Once inside the park, the roads were dirt and sand, and had lots of ruts. Plenty of shade trees with Spanish moss. Campground itself could use some "cleaning up". The site we were in contained lots of cigarette butts and squash peelings. As non-smokers, we found this somewhat annoying. Of the other camping units in the park, most were older, and appeared to have been there for quite some time. Lots of areas contained goose poop so be care where you walk. Upon arrival, there was a sign posted on a tree stating "no big dogs". Website does not say anything about pets, so ask first. Campground also has a boat launch and small floating dock. Roads are difficult to negotiate as trees are not trimmed and hang over dirt roads in park. Park looks somewhat rundown; however, owners are very friendly and accommodating. If cleaned up some, and a few rules regarding campers cleaning up after themselves were put into place, this would be a really nice park, right on Lake Marion. It's very out of the way, so it would be nice if staying a few days or more, but for overnight, it's somewhat inconvenient. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
