Chose this park over a nicer one in town due to the shade trees, and expected to have lower price due to past reviews. But those people had long term rates. Daily is $44.95 PLUS $2 for showers. Way too steep for this outdated country park. Trash bins overflowing for 2 days. Sites narrow but level and long. Voltage low. Laundry load almost $4, closes 8 PM. Cable TV was very good, and Verizon cell and MiFi worked. No info offered from front desk person about park Wi-Fi ,shower fees, rules, anything. Would still be OK for one night except for the price. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Fairly nice campground with long pull-throughs and decent spacing between the gravel sites. Grass between the sites and a picnic table. Most sites have a tree or two that do provide some shade. No fire pits and personal fire pits are not allowed either. Price is a bit steep, especially since the showers are $2.00! We stayed a week and got one night free and it was still $38.00/night. Lots of things to do in Glacier Park but make sure you visit the little town of Whitefish.....about 5 miles to the west, great restaurants! We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
The owner is super friendly and helpful. Campground is treed and pretty well maintained. Super fast and reliable WiFi. Pretty nice laundry on site, lots of cable channels. Price is high compared to other area sites and there is road noise. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Friendly owner/manager. Drive-in theater next door to park is closed. No longer a problem as others have noted. 20 miles to Glacier Park entrance. Gas station and mini-mart close by. Would stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Gravel bumpy interior roads. Nice clean laundry. The owner is very friendly, however it appears the park is too much for her to manage. The landscaping is neglected and the picnic tables are all splintered. Shade trees are plentiful. Road noise is noticeable. The drive-in theater next door is operational but was not a bother to us. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This would be an ideal location but is a poorly run park. Dirt roads with pot holes, highway noise and noise from the drivein theatre next door. Owner/managers cater to the full timers. We camped here in a camper.
