The campground was rustic, but clean. The sites were large and flat with grass, picnic tables and fire pits. Firewood was available for purchase. The staff was friendly and accommodating. There were laundry facilities and the rest rooms were clean and the showers offered privacy. There was no TV, but the WiFi was adequate. Access to the Kootenai River was good and offered a fishing option for campers, with the appropriate Montana fishing license. We were in the campground for 4 days, and had no complaints. We will recommend this campground and feel it is an excellent value for the price paid. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
Very nice little park, located right on the Kootenai River. The manager is very helpful and friendly. The sites are gravel, but mostly level as far as I could tell. Wi-Fi was pretty good at our site, some people had to go to the central kiosk to get service, but it was adequate when you did get it. No cable TV is the only reason we did not give it a 10. The bathrooms, although not modern, were nice and clean. There is laundry on site we did not use, and a small store. The new owners are still improving it. You can walk to the river and fish on site if you wish. We'll stay there again if in that part of the state. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
Nice and well maintained park. Despite the fact that it's directly at the road, it is rather quiet. There are back-in as well as pull through sites, suitable also for big rigs. Each site has a fire ring. Wi-Fi is only available close to the office building, but is working fine. Restrooms/showers were clean and in good condition. They have a small store with some basic stuff. Good value, would stay here again. We camped here in a Truck Camper.
