Kofa Mountain RV Park in Quartzsite, Arizona is one of the few places to stay in Quartzsite and is not a resort by any stretch. However it is nice enough for a couple of days or more and the people that run it are very nice and accommodating. We arrived about 6pm in February 2013 and the office was closed but the maintenance man saw us drive in and immediately opened the office and checked us in. We asked for a pull-through which we received for $25 a night cash only deal. The streets are a bit narrow for a 40 foot coach with toad but clearly are maneuverable with a little care. The front entry gates are quite narrow for larger coaches so be careful coming in. Once you come through the entry gates the office is directly in front of you. Our site was gravel which is typical for this area. We had full hookups and relatively easy in and out. All in all the RV parks are limited in this area but we would stay here again since it met our short term needs. We camped here in a Motorhome.
We enjoyed our short stay in this small, adult park. Like most parks in Q, many seasonal residents in neat park models, and they're nice folks. New owner a year or so ago. Manager friendly and very helpful. All overnight sites are gravel. Excellent roads. Easy in/out. Activity center has TV and pool table and coffee and donuts in the a.m. Rate is Passport America. Will definitely return when in the area. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
It was truly a pleasure to be in this Park. Some noise from traffic but didn't bother. Clean, clean, clean. WiFi worked extremely well. Fast and stable. Couldn't ask for better. Management was friendly, caring and efficient. Quartzsite is a City of RV Parks but this is truly one of the best in my opinion. This is a "no pets" Park. The rate quoted is the Passport America Rate. We would stay here again in a second. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
This is a relatively small park with about half the sites occupied by park models. It's the only Passport America park in Quartzsite, and although the listing blacks out January and February, they quickly offered us the Passport rate during the last week of February. They guy in the office was very friendly, as were the residents in the club house. We had full services with a concrete pad and free Wi-Fi. We'd definitely stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Stayed in a class C motor home. Paid $17 a night, with a Passport America discount. Has gravel pads for the RV and adjacent concrete pad for bench. No bench provided. Has WiFi available for a fee. Although did not charge me for the WiFi on my overnight stay. Place is very kept up and clean. Friendly office staff. RV hardware store adjacent to this RV park, is very handy. Restaurant about half a block away. Have been here before and will continue to stay at his park, for overnight stays. We camped here in a Motorhome.
