What a goldmine this gorgeous campground would be for the owner if he/they would take care of it. The garbage pails in the rest rooms (next to the toilets) were filled up to the rim with napkins and tampons. You can tell that they haven't been emptied in a while and therefore I am sure that the bathroom itself wasn't cleaned either. Thanks god we are self contained and I was just nosy to see the bathrooms. There were real old disgusting and trashy looking seasonal campers and in the woods were anything from an old corroded school bus to old cars, just laying around. So sad, it could be an awesome campground. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We stayed here only two nights as we were passing through New Hampshire, stopping only because we wanted to hike Mount Washington. We had a hard time finding a campground because it was a holiday weekend (Labor Day) and most campgrounds in the area either didn't allow dogs or required a minimum 3 night stay for the holiday. Fortunately, Apple Hill had no problem getting us in. This campground was cheap, which suited our purpose of just being a quick stop-over, but the sites are not very wide and so there isn't much privacy between trailers and positioning can be a little tricky to be able to open your slides and awning. Some of the other campgrounds that we passed by in the area seemed to have trailers much more tightly packed-in. Interior roads are rough in spots and tight, with some big rocks and other obstacles to be careful of, making maneuvering a little tricky, but manageable. The gentleman who checked us in, was very friendly and helpful, pointing out several local dining and shopping options, and also a trail to hike to hike up Mount Washington that was closer than the one we planned on hiking. I don't think they advertise having internet access, but when we asked we were pleasantly surprised to find out that they did indeed have a WiFi network that we were able to access from our site for free. So the sites were somewhat crowded, but the price and service were great, and it was in a location convenient for what we wanted. We would stay here again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

$30 is full rate, paid $15 Sun - Thu. Not much has changed since our first visit two years ago, but not much in the way of improvements either. Just two years older, we still like it here. Verizon cell coverage and broadband was excellent and we had very good TV reception with just the batwing. We would come back. We camped here in a Motorhome.

$25 is the full rate for W/30amp/S. But they take Passport America on Sun - Thru so it was 12.50 for most nights. We ended up staying 8 nights because we liked it so much. It is in the 'great north woods' and if we had seen a moose or bear walking through the park it would not have been a surprise. No Wi-fi but there is a great little coffee house with free WiFi right up the road next to the post office and near the library (has Wi-fi too). All kinds of great home made goodies here. Owners of park were very nice and park was very quiet and peacefull. Two 18 hole golf courses nearby. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Good spot for day trips in White Mountains. Owners friendly and helpful. Sites are close and heavily wooded with rough and hilly access roads. We camped here in a Motorhome.

If you are looking for a campground that still gives you that "in the woods" feeling while camping in a rig, then this park is for you. Although it doesn't have a swimming pool or lake on the property, it is clean and the sites are some of the biggest and wooded I've seen. The owners are extremely friendly and helpful, so if you are in New Hampshire in the white mountains region I would say to check this campground out. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
