Loved this campground. Tucked in a valley in the Catskill mnts, with a beautiful stream running through it. Great place.. Peaceful.. Family oriented.. Friendly people.. Great place to camp in tents. trailers or a pop up. Cute cabins too. We are going to try to visit again in the fall its gotta be gorgeous there then. We camped here in a Tent.

What I loved most about this place is, its a campground and not an RV parking lot. Its an older campground that has been family operated for over 40 years. Its very welcoming with lots of character.. The grounds are beautiful.. The people very friendly.. I loved camping along the stream.. The restrooms were older buildings but kept spotless.. Bravo to the staff.. Every year we go back and it seems they are constantly improving the grounds. I'll be back Russell Brook !!! We camped here in a Tent Trailer.

Normally, I don't post reviews but saw this one and had to comment. The previous post is totally off. The camp store was always open when I was there. The staff was so nice and helpful, made you feel welcomed. The bathrooms where older buildings but kept spotless!!! So were the grounds and the pool. There were a variety of beautiful campsites for tenters, pop up and trailers. We will definitely go back. It beautiful there. To the previous poster maybe you should sell your camper and start doing the hotel thing... We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

We were disappointed as we called to make sure and were told by the owner that there were hiking and biking trails nearby. The only hiking trail was very rough and at one point you had to wade across the stream to hike it. There was no biking and the fishing was very disappointing. You had to either hike the very long, rough trail or drive to the fishing spots. The store was seldom open and the campground road was extremely rough. Most of the sites seemed to be occupied by resident campers. We also had a very noisy party next to us that the owners did nothing to quiet down, although the children were loud and boisterous well into the late night hours. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is an older campground showing its age. The showers and bathrooms need upgrading. The camp store was never open unless you went to the house and asked the owner to open up. The owner is quite helpful but it appears he is a little overwhelmed with maintenance. Way to many seasonals for our taste. Not bad for a couple of nights but we will not be visiting again. We camped here in a Tent Trailer.

I enjoyed the park however there were way too many seasonal trailers in place, most with the best of the locations (I don't blame them) but many were 'permanent' rather than seasonal with trees growing up through the trailer tongue and decks larger than the one at the house. The owners were very hospitable and tried to make us feel at home. It was enjoyable but mention should go to the total number of seasonal customers; a bit overwhelming when trying to blend it to the camping experience! We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Cooks Falls Area. Electric was 20A. Only 4 showers for the entire campground. Many seasonal campers in place; some appeared rundown. Store was never open, but owner said to go to the main house and someone would open up if supplies were needed. A few sites were pull through & full hook-up. We camped here in a camper.
