Our site was changed 3 times, and the last time, the site they gave us, someone was already in there. Dogs ran wild, doing their business anywhere and on our camper tires. The campground had potential but I guess since the campground was for sale, the owners let it run down somewhat. The pictures on their website is way out of date. The roads are in disrepair and would be a beast for a camper 30' or larger. We will not be back. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
Difficult for big rigs but doable. Only 1 pull thru site. Waterline was broken but didn't tell us until after we paid. NO refunds. Camp rumour has they are closing the RV side and making it a mobile home park. Mostly seasonals. Gem mine on site is owned by someone else. We wouldn't stay here in future. Too hard to get to with little to show for it. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This is a family campground, so if your looking for a place to drink and party, then its not the place for you. This campground is located about 1/2 mile off the main highway on a very dusty gravel road. There's a limited number of available sites, because most are seasonal. There is a catch and release pond in the middle of the campground with sunfish, catfish, and plenty of ducks. The owner dams up the creek to provide a swimming/wading pool during the summer months. There is a laundry with cold water, and hot showers on friday and saturday. There are lots of very tall popular tree that provide lots of shade. Bingo is held under a shelter on saturday night. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
Second time to visit. This is a nice out of the way campground. Older so some site sites cannot accommodate larger rigs. No problems with my 35' double slides and awning. Gem mine on property. Smaller park, very clean, w/friendly staff/owners. Within day trips of Maggie Valley, Cherokee, Helen (Ga), etc. Nice place to stay. Possibly a little boring for kids! We camped here in a Motorhome.

This campground is located on a very dusty gravel road, and consist primarily of seasonal campers. There is a creek that the owner dams to provide a wading area. There is a catch and release fishing pond with small sunfish and catfish, and lots of ducks. The creek is prone to flooding its banks during hard rains. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
