Chose this park due to the closeness to the outlet mall as that was the purpose of the trip, only a 5-10 minute drive. We arrived after dark. The office staff was friendly and escorted us to our site. The site was a long gravel pull-through that left lots of room for the coach and toad. The sites were of average size. The park was clean and well cared for. Trash picked up at your site daily. Our roof mounted Direct TV worked fine, but as others have mentioned it may be to the lack of leaves on the trees. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Peaceful wooded campground. Decent access roads with gravel sites. Power ok, did not use water or sewer, Wi-Fi abysmal, Verizon cell ok. Satellite worked, but probably only due to leaves being gone. We will consider this campground when next in the area, but will also take another look at the alternatives. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We have stayed in this park a couple of times on our way south. It is clean and neat with excellent customer service. It is a great stopover for snowbirds. We had to make a late reservation change due to truck trouble, and we were treated very well. We found the nature trail for the first time, and it is great! We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

We used this campground as an overnight stay, but wished we could have stayed longer. It was a beautiful campground set among lots of mature trees. The sites were extremely well maintained with a significant amount of rock and not even any visible weeds growing in the rocks. We were level without needing any blocks. The utilities worked well and the cable TV channel selection was robust. Everything was clean and well cared for. This is a very nice place and we'd come back without hesitation. One of the best KOAs we have been in. We stayed in a deluxe site (hence the higher rate). These are fantastic with a large wood deck, patio table and chairs, a two person porch swing, and a large fire pit with seating. Park is sufficiently off the freeway so nice and quiet. I marked it down from a 10 because the roads and parking spots are tight especially with a motorhome. You need to be careful on your way in/out. Nevertheless, we will be staying here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This park has everything a family needs: pool, playground, activities, pet park, big rig access, Wi-Fi, cable TV. Pleasant and helpful staff. Very clean . Fire pits raised from ground and secure; they have a grill attached. Grove City outlets are close by. We would definitely camp here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Stayed here several times over the last few years. Most recently on a site which included a concrete patio with wooden decking next to the pull through, two person swing, table/chairs with umbrella and a fire pit. Site was fairly level and clean. Water pressure was good, Wi-Fi connected easily and cable TV worked fine. Pool has been refurbished since our last visit and was very nice. Kids loved the hiking/nature trail and the huge sand pile. Staff is very friendly. Bathrooms are clean and store is well stocked. Tractor ride through the park was a hit on Saturday night and the Sunday breakfast for $5 was a bargain. Amish folks come in on Saturday mornings with baked goods for sale. There is a small fishing lake across the road. Did not fish or see anyone fishing but looked nice. There are some permanent sites in two different sections, All seemed very well taken care of and the campers were friendly. Slight noise from the back road that runs past the campground but not much traffic at night. Close to Grove City outlets and only 3 miles off the interstate. Rates are higher than other campgrounds with similar offerings but we have never had a bad experience here and will return again. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

This is a wonderful KOA. We stayed at site #104 which is one of their patio sites. It has a large deck you pull in next to, a swing, table with sun umbrella, a charcoal grill and fire pit. It had multiple sewer drop locations to choose from and the other hook-ups were close. The dog playground was very nice (but slightly overgrown). The pool was just re-tiled, very clean, and warm. This is a very nice nature walk/bike trail through the woods which my son loved. We did pay a bit of a premium for the site, but it was worth it. The downside was the tree which was part of the deck area. It limits where you can put your camper and put your awning out. The seasonals are out of the way of the transient campers and very quiet. The activities were a bit slim the weekend we were there but the outlets shops nearby can make up for that. Make sure you bring some leveling blocks for the sites as ours was uneven. Otherwise, this is a great KOA and I will camp here again. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

This was just a stopover on the way down south. It is conveniently located off I-79. The staff was courteous, friendly and helpful. The park was wooded and looked quite nice. The size of the sites was adequate. In wet weather, as we had, the sites didn’t drain well. Wi-Fi worked perfectly. The dog park was the biggest we have ever seen. The rest rooms were a bit tired but in excellent condition and were very clean. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Wooded campground located three miles from I-79 Grove City exit. We stayed on a "patio site" which was very nice, but pricey at $68 per night. Our site (#85) included a very large concrete patio with chairs/table/swing set/fire ring. Very nice. Only downside was that this particular site backed up on Route 258, which was fairly busy in the day, not so much at night. Other patio sites are not as nice with smaller concrete or wood patios. Campground is slightly hilly with some tight turns because of the trees. Overall, a nice place to stay and a good location. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Spacious entrance and check-in area. Our pull-through held our 33' rig, tow dolly and two cars without 'double parking". We were escorted to our site. A water pressure regulator is critical because the water outlet at some sites is not adjustable—it is either off or on. There are several seasonal/semi-permanent sites, generally sequestered into one area and most well kept. We were there off season so the pool was covered. Office staff were helpful. Despite filling up over the weekend it was quiet. We plan to return in December when we visit family in the area. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Nice campground although a bit pricey. The eastbound signs off I-80 bring you in to the campground over a narrow road. However, it is a lovely place and a great stop for the final night of our 4-1/2 month trip. We'd stay here again if returning home through western PA in the future. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We camped here over Memorial Day weekend. We had one of the few water & electric only sites. The campground was nice it was a bit tight getting into the site we had but it was nice. The mosquitoes were the worst part of the weekend. As far as the campground: the dump station was a pain in the butt to use, however they told me that it was going away soon. I would camp here again. Just make sure if you don't have a full hook up site, or make sure you plenty of sewer hose to use the dump station. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Our second visit here. We tried one of there patio sites. It was nice, it would have been perfect if we would of have enough room to put our awning out. There was a huge tree that prevented the awning for extending out. Other than that, the campground is great. If you are in the upper sections you may get a little road noise and the road is a little tight. We were in the lower section(site #69) and there was no road noise. Great staff, well maintained. We would return. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Pretty, shady campground in hilly country. Lots of seasonals, but they're kept neat; some are decorated with a sense of whimsy. At least one campground worker is Amish, and arrived for work via horse and buggy: that was neat. Some road noise from the country road; otherwise quiet. This is an excellent campground, convenient to the interstate but far enough away so there is no road noise. Our site was right across from the office, and access was easy. The site was very long and wide. I can see how other reviewers had different experiences with sites in the back. The free Wi-Fi worked very well. The high point for us is the huge fenced dog park. This well maintained area is the largest we have seen in our travels. I would definitely stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

We stayed here for an overnight on our way to Ohio. Easy access off of route 80 to route 79. This was a very nice, clean campground. They had a nice pancake breakfast too. Our site was all the way in the back of the campground which made it a little difficult to pull our 35' fifth wheel through the campground. There were some trees and bushes scraping the sides of our camper as we were trying to get to our site. The staff were very nice and helpful. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a very nice campground - the front desk personnel were very friendly and helpful. It appeared that about one half the spaces were seasonal sites. The space we were escorted to was very treed and in an area surrounded by seasonal site visitors who were not there so we felt very lonely. We were staying for 4 days, so the next morning we asked to move. They picked a great site for us and guided us in. We met some great people and had a great time. I would highly recommend this park. This was a nice campground. Our site was ample in width and length for our motor home and our toad. That being said, some of the sites are very tight. There are a lot of seasonals here but we did not find it a problem. Nor were the trees a problem in our site. A lot of the sites are not level, so we would suggest checking your assigned site out before going there. Tooling around the park with anything large would not be an option. There are lots of children here (as you would expect). We camped here in a Motorhome.

Nightly rate was $42, less the 10% KOA member discount, for a 30 amp full hookup site with cable. This place was a disappointment. We selected this campground based on the reviews here. The principal business of this KOA is seasonal campers. They are all over the campground, not in a dedicated area, and take up roughly 50% of the sites. The campground is densely shaded. The seasonal campers give the place a shabby look. There is one old rig with green moss or algae growing all over it. This place is not up to what I believe the KOA standard to be. In addition, a seasonal camper across from us ran a leaf blower for 30 minutes before I called the office to ask them to stop the noise. A staff member drove by in one of their carts, but didn't do a thing (clearly didn't want to perturb the seasonal camper). The noise went on for another 20 minutes. This woman was blowing every leaf and leaf particle off her site. The following morning, they started up the power washer. Thank goodness we headed out of the campground for the day. The restrooms and showers are clean. Overall, it's fairly quiet, although you can hear I-80/I-79 in the distance. We had a site away from the kids' action up front. There are about 20 channels on the cable, and the free WiFi works well - there are several antennas located throughout the campground. We would not stay here again due to the seasonal factor. We camped here in a Motorhome.

The campground itself is wooded. The site we were in was large and was not close to other campers. However, saying that they are big rig friendly is not exactly true. The road to the park is marked 10 tons, most 40 foot plus are over 10 tons. The road inside the park is very narrow and not passable for anything larger than 40 feet, and even that would be tight. Other than that it looks like a very nice campground. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Overall the campground is a nice place to stay if you are passing through or looking to shop at the Grove City Outlets. The sites are very close together and some of the larger fifth wheels and motorhomes were slide out to slide out. Almost everyone camps with animals here, but they seem to clean up after themselves and the dogs/cats were never a problem. There were no campground activities planned for the weekend. My only problem with the campground was the owner. As advertised in their brochure we were given upon checking in there was supposed to be a free breakfast for mothers on Mother's Day. Being that we were a group of moms we decided to try out the breakfast only to be charged $5.00 each. When I inquired about the "free" breakfast for moms he stated that he decided not to do that because they hadn't collected enough donations for the Kamp and Kare weekend. Not that I mind donating to a good cause, but they should not advertise a free breakfast all weekend and then decide the morning of to change their plans without letting campers know. I also tried to purchase a few things in the store and was left standing for 5 minutes while 4 people (including the owner) sat and talked about vacation plans. I would recommend this place as a one night stopover, but not necessarily a destination point. We camped here in a Motorhome.

My biggest complaint with this campground was the scheduling issues. I have two dogs and I requested to have a RV/Big-Rig site near the dog walk area. I was told over the phone when I booked the site, it would be one of the sites near the dog walk area. Imagine my surprise when I was told our site was clear across the campground in an area heavily populated with seasonals. I also was quite clear that I had a 34' motorhome that was towing a Honda CR-V. I did get a pull-thru site but the nose of the rig was in the road and the bumper of the tow vehicle was also in the road! The front desk was staffed with polite but unhelpful people who really didn't care to resolve any issues I had. Fortunately, I did not stay here for more than one night. I will not camp here again because of the poor service received by the staff. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Nice campground located just minutes from the outlets and quaint shopping town of Volant. Many sites were spacious while others were the typical, narrow KOA-style. We were passenger side slide-out to slide-out with our neighbor but at least our sites faced opposite of each other and we had plenty of patio room. Heated pool was very clean as were restrooms/showerhouse. Tractor rides through the campground were a hit with the kids as well as the playground, gameroom, bocce ball, basketball and frisbee golf. The golf was especially challenging since it's located amongst trees! Campstore was well stocked with supplies if there was anything you might have forgotten. Grove City / Mercer (Pennsylvania) KOA owner was very rude to his customer. Upon arrival Friday night with receipt in hand, I checked in at the office. I was presented with a cash register receipt and told to sign. I read the receipt and noted that it did not state that I had a zero balance. I showed my printed receipt from my internet payment explaining that I was prepaid and paid in full, and that I should not have to sign another slip. The owner spoke very curtly telling me "The signature is for liability, you'll sign the slip, or you'll leave." Well I did sign the slip with hesitation, and made a note of the owner's name and the manner in which he spoke to me. The rest of the weekend, he saw me 3 more times and never apologized for his very offensive tone. Instead of paying $42.00 per night for this KOA with a bad attitude, I recommend RV Village in Mercer. I called RV Village today and confirmed their rate of $22.00 per night full hook up, and no additional cost for children. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

This is a "destination campground" for us. Located near the heart of PA Amish country, it's very quiet, although there are occasional planned activities. Plenty for the kids to do; easy enough for adults who don't have kids to be located away from the noise! Owners very knowledgable about area activities. If you're into shopping, Prime Outlets are nearby. If you're into quaint downtowns, Volant and Mercer are like a step into the past. Homegrown vegetables are a short drive away; the yummiest home-baked bread imaginable is occasionally for sale at campground office. We thoroughly enjoyed our brief weekend stay at this KOA. The staff was friendly and very helpful, the campground well-maintained, the facilities very clean, and the store well-stocked. We enjoyed our stay so much that we have reserved a spot for two weeks in mid-July and added a Kottage for our children and grandchildren. Proximity to the Prime Outlets Mall is clearly a plus. Grocery stores, diesel fuel, and assorted restaurants are all within a short drive. Slippery Rock University, an American educational icon, is located one exit south on I-79. During the week we stayed, (early summer 04) we observed a well managed campground. We were told by the seasonal campers that we met, that great improvements have been made by the management during the last several years and the newish owners have done their best, to rid this KOA of "problem campers" by enforcing reasonable rules! The parks sites are level and spacious. The bathhouses are new and kept clean. A/C never dropped below 115V. The roads thru where a lil tight, but managable for our MH 34'+ toad 17'= 54' OAL. If I can save just one family time and money than I will feel much better. KOA was the worst experience! You would think owners of a campground would actually like camping. Heck, you would even assume that they like people. Having no camping experience, they are very rude and unprofessional. The campground itself has no activities and the bathrooms are filthy. With less than 30 amps per two trailers, enough said. Within the past year, they have lost many permanent campers as well as overnighters. Their new logo should be "STAY AWAY FROM KOA."
