Our rate was Passport America price. We stayed 3 days and that was 2 days to long. All the good sites are taken by permanent residents. We made reservations 1 1/2 month ahead of time for a 50A site but once we arrived, we were given a 30A site and told they had no record our reservation. The Park Managment's response was "You Passport people want a 50A, Pull-through site for half the price." The 30A site we were on had the hook-ups on the wrong side. The entrance into park is very tricky with sharp curve at entrance. If you are coming from the North; you have to pass the campground and turn around and approach from the South because the entrance turn is so sharp. Like mentioned in other review, train tracks run within 150 feet from campground and it sounds like its coming through your camper. I would not stay here again even for 1 night. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

All the nice sites are taken by permanent campers. The overnight campers are in a circle of grass with no trees and no privacy. The mosquitoes and flies were horrible and the train was unbearable. Owners left you alone but were not very friendly upon check in. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Nice park but as previous reviewers noted all the riverfront sides are taken by seasonal campers from May-Sept. And the trains, oh my! Pretty empty on weekdays but only a handful of sites are available due to seasonal campers. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

This is a lovely site located right on the Mississippi River. Seasonal campers hold all the riverfront sites; but there is a ramp and public beach area. We had a good view of the river from our site. There is a lot of nice landscaping - flowers and a gazebo. The major problem with this campground is that there is a two-track railroad right outside the grounds, with trains going by every 1/2 hour during the day, and every two hours at night. As there is an intersection, so the trains blow their whistles. But we liked the site for an night's stay. Just bring your ear plugs! We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
