Many of the customers at Lynn Ann's Campground have grown up camping there, now bring their kids or grandchildren. Well kept yet slightly retro. Very nice sandy beach. Owners and employees are very helpful and courteous. Friendly neighbors. We felt right at home here, will definitely return! We camped here in a Motorhome.
This park is over-crowded with people and dogs. Most of the roads and all of the campsites are not paved which resulted in airborn dust and dirt. The campsites are extremely small and crowded. Each site is allowed to burn a campfire which results in consistently poor air quality. There were too many big dogs allowed per campsite which results in large quantities of animal urine and waste left on the roads and in the campsites. Campsites were not cleaned between renters. Conditions during the day are noisy from barking dogs, campers playing loud music, and the relocation of trailers by park staff using heavy equipment. Wi-Fi is not available to all sites even though it is advertised. Refunds for inadequate Wi-Fi service were not given. Cable TV service has poor station choices. The owners and staff are not friendly and don't wish to be helpful. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
Nice place to get away in the northwoods. Located on Big St. Germain Lake, this facility has a beach and marina, making it extra special. Staff is wonderful and helpful. Individual sites in the upper section are great, but those in the lower section (closer to the lake) aren't as nice or big. Bathroom facilities could be better. It would be nice if they built a second bath/shower area for those in the upper section. We camped here in a Motorhome.
We vacation in St. Germain every year, usually renting a nearby cabin. Tried tent camping here. Had a lousy site, too close to the bathroom. The resort facilities are older, could use some updating, but bathroom cleaned often. Showers not very nice. Not much separates the campsites, no privacy at all, some of the sites are very small. The sites near the lake appear larger. The lower area sites are not as nice as the upper. The lower roads are sandy gravel. People had to walk past our site to get to the bathroom, heard people all night long. Quiet hours were not observed. We were also too close to the dumping station, and somebody spilled on Day 2 of 4 and we had to live with the smell. The management did nothing to try and fix the foul odor. We left early. Would not go back. Perhaps an RV would have been more pleasant. I give it a 4 because St. Germain is a beautiful town/area. Sticking to the cabins! We camped here in a Tent.
