This place is noting to write home about! We had to stay for business but couldn't wait to leave. The train horn all night long is not good. Some of the permanent resident places are really in shambles. OK in a pinch but we will not be back. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

The Park cafe is closed but the bathrooms and laundry are new. It's a bit dusty and the internet is very slow. We were able to use our Direct TV dish. We camped here in a Motorhome.

The sites are definitely big enough for a big rig with four slides but the streets are gravel/dirt and soft. If they were very wet you could get stuck. The park could use some maintenance. The sites are grassed which is nice. The train runs all night but with the windows closed it wasn't too bad. There are two full rows of full time RVers and most of them have junky spots. There is a service station with diesel and propane and a cafe and convenience store on site. An old mobile home was the bathrooms, showers and rec hall but I never got up enough nerve to go inside to inspect. There are phone hookups in the first two rows (where the full time sites are.) We stay here any time we go through Sandpoint because it is convenient and there really isn't much choice but we are just going through. The campground is really in Sagle, ID, about 6 miles south of Sandpoint. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is a basic no frills park with few amenities. Roads are gravel/dirt. Sites are grass pull thrus and level. There are small trees that don't provide much shade. It is big rig friendly. The park is behind a truck stop/convenience store/cafe. Sites close to them will get some noise, sites at the back of the park will get less. Registration is at the convenience store. There is also a railroad track nearby and you hear trains occasionally. The park was satisfactory for our one night stay. We camped here in a Motorhome.
