North Lake Estates was recently purchased by Morgan Management and has already made many improvements. More lighting, new landscaping, fresh paint, cleaned bridge over lake, fencing, buildings and deck. Bath/Shower buildings are kept clean along with laundry rooms. Many amenities offered to all residents. Even though the closest grocery store in 25 miles north or south, this is still a great place to camp. Management and staff is friendly and accommodating. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Nicest park in the area, but unkempt. They have a beautiful lake but the bridge going over it is in need of repair. The park is dark at night because the beautiful lights they have around the park do not work and the owner refuses to buys lights. They also nickle and dime you to death - even taking a cut of the bingo money! The pool is not heated as advertised and there is nothing to do there if you don't fish. Civilization is over 25 miles away. The staff there is ignorant as far as any help to be given and they are downright rude. I would rather sell my rv than have to ever stay there again! We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Beautiful campground, but maintenance is something to be desired especially in the bathrooms. I went to take a shower and there was no toilet paper, no paper towels and the shower had MOLD in it. People who camp there for several months said the owners were not providing anyone to clean the restrooms. They stated when they were cleaned it was someone who stayed there that cleaned the restrooms and showers. Also you had to go ask for paper supplies. Men's bathroom was just as bad. Get real, if you own a camp ground you have to maintain! Beautiful on the outside, but not so pretty on the inside. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

We never got to stay at this park. Three of us made reservation in Feb. 2005 for the 2006 season, (Jan., Feb., March.) In June of 2005 we all received letters saying that the rates were increasing from 1273.00 to 1600.00 for the 3 months. No where in our confirmation letter did it state that "Rates are subject to change". All three of us canceled our reservations, we are now trying to get our 100.00 deposits returned. We also filed a complaint with the BBB in their area. We had a contract with these people, a confirmation letter, site numbers assigned, a deposit made. They didn't hold up there end of the contract. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
