Entry road is old asphalt turning to gravel. Very rural setting. Sites are grass and level -- most are in shade. Some back-in sites are along the river were $5 more per night. Interior roads are mostly dirt paths. A good many permanent or seasonal units. Lots of mature shade trees rimmed high for good visibility and clearance for rigs. Quiet and comfortable property adjacent to a county park with baseball/soccer fields. Train runs within 2 miles but was just a low roar at our site. Laundry was clean with two sets of machines, clean and reasonably priced, with folding table and hang-up bar. Restrooms are in the same building and have coded entry. There were no club discounts available. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Well off Hwy99, quiet with some really nice sites close to the Sacramento River. Some sites, however, butt up against the club house and are not very good. Park is old, manager says he intends to fix it up. Never did get to go in the office. Every time we approached the Mgr came out and talked to us outside; we assume it is a mess inside. Bathroom/Showers are old but clean. Shade trees are everywhere. The Park has no store. The park has a boat launch for small fish ing rigs and access to the river for bank fishermen. Each site has cable TV hookup that has long gone defunct. RV Power Antenna gets about 4 channels well. (Including ABC, CBS). We will return if for no other reason, for the setting. It is very peaceful. We camped here in a Motorhome.
