I did not actually stay overnight in this park although that was my intention. I pulled in, drove through, and pulled back out again. It appeared to be rundown with a few long term RVs disintegrating on site. I generally have excellent luck with Passport America parks...this was an exception. Although it might be okay for an overnight if you are exhausted, I wasn't so I chose to leave. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
Rate is daily rate for 50 amp FHU pull thru site with PA discount. Roads and pads are dirt with small amount of gravel, though the road and parking area in front of the laundromat which is in the center of the park is paved. No shade. Site was long enough that we didn't need to unhook the toad. This is one of those parks that when you drive up you think, do we really want to stay here. And while it is rundown, it still makes for a convenient, inexpensive overnight stop with reliable hookups if that's all you're looking for. But if the rundown look turns you off, it's definitely not for you. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This is a Passport America Park . The man in office is friendly, however, the park is filthy. There is trash every where - not bags of it, but soda cans smashed into the dirt as well as all manner of candy wrappers, gum, etc. There is still the laundromat in the center of the RV park, and it is open 24/7 and very busy. However, to us that was a lot less distracting than the bugs and dirt. There were black beetle looking bugs that were 2 inches long running everywhere - yuck! There is a pool, but it was closed for the winter - but when I looked at it it was green and tons of bugs were floating on it as well as leaves and twigs. We would not stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Nice people in the office. Old park with grassy/dirt sites. Power was adequate for AC. There were thunderstorms the night we were there so the laundromat traffic didn't bother us, but someone was in there most of the evening, usually families. They weren't noisy or bothersome though. Lots of low spots in the road became puddles overnight and made for a slow exit the next morning. We would use it again for an overnight. Rate was as Passport America members We camped here in a Motorhome.
Passport America park, very small with very friendly people running the park, however the park has a public laundry mat right in the center of it. It was very noisy all hours of the day and night. Dirt roads left everything very dusty with extra charges for electric, regular rate is $20 or $10 for site then you must add $1 for 30 amp or $2 for 50 amp service. Much of the park is full time campers but for just a one night stop if you can deal with the traffic to the laundry it will work. The town is pretty well dead with just a couple of fast food restaurants still open. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
