Out of the way but very nice. The staff is first class and the park is very clean. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is a nice park but wasn't great for our needs. We travel for work, so the amenities are what we look for: cable, internet, full sewer, etc. were not available. This is a great spot for people looking to 'get away' from it all. That's not our thing, so I wasn't crazy about it. But all in all, it is a nice campground. If you just want to fish, or kick back by an open fire--this is the place. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Great State Park not far from a State Forest. Park location in a valley. No cell or wireless internet connection with major company. Walked from site about 100 ft to lake for fishing. Most visitors at this park were adult and fishing was main reason for being there. Other than the freeze for one night, could not have asked for a better visit. All park personnel very nice, polite and very helpful. Would definitely visit again. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Wonderful, remote park. We camped during the week and maybe 10 total spots taken. Peace and Quiet. Some hiking and some wildlife. Not too much shade for most of the sites. Nearest grocery store is in Camden or Prescott, about 20 miles away, so get your food before you get there. We camped here in a Tent Trailer.

This is a remote campground. Don't count on your cell phone working. I camped with a group of about 10 other campers. Many of the campsites are next to the water and are large enough to get a group together by the campfire and have a great time. A pavilion is available for groups. The hiking trails are relatively easy to hike but it does get hot in the summer. Most of the trees are tall pines and don't offer a lot of shade for the camper. Plan on running the air conditioner and staying inside during the heat of the day. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

This park is beautiful! Each site is paved, most have special space for car/truck. Each site has a smooth gravel patio that is bordered by wood planks. Each patio has a firepit, a barbecue, a shepherds pole for lanterns, and an open-weave metal picnic table. The park visitors center has minimum supplies, as well as gifts (t-shirts, mugs, lap blankets, etc.). Access roads are paved and there are several hiking trails. Park offers senior discounts. Our original time here was 4 days, but it was so relaxing and quiet that we extended for the full week. I highly recommend a stay in this park. We camped here in a Motorhome.
