Stay away from this one. Staying here was a Big mistake! My son, daughter-in-law, and spouse said it would make a good horror movie. The bathroom was covered in black widows and spider webs. There was no hot water available if you dared take a shower. Water was rusty and smelled something fierce. The manager was laying in the front seat of his maybe 1975 Class C with cardboard covering broken windows. The fence surrounding the park was a falling down paint bare picket like you might find in an old cemetery in a horror movie. If we had not paid in advance and arrived at 10:00 pm we would never had stayed. Traffic noise was bad too!!! Stay anywhere but Windsorland RV !!!! We camped here in a Motorhome.
All in all a nice stay. Very reasonable price. They WON'T be closing for at least another year or two. Clean park: has been spruced up from 2 years ago. Town of Windsor square is across the street (easy walk) and has restaurants, shops, concerts and movies in the square on Tuesday and Thursday nights. Also has a farmers market on Thursdays. Drawbacks are: no hot water in restrooms (we used our own), no cable TV, (but DOES have WiFi), and located next to Hwy 101. Nice people and quiet at night. Would definitely stay here again. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
This is a good place to stay. It's relatively quiet and secure (freeway noise, but no camper noise), the staff are considerate. There's no hot water, but the bathrooms are clean, you can take a cold shower if you want to, and if your RV has a shower this park has full hookups, so you're set. Built on part of a formerly gigantic, sprawling amusement park of an RV park, looks like it was a beautiful place at one point. Now it's much smaller, but still nice. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This park IS open. We have stayed for about a month and I kind of liked it. There is a large fenced dog run. Just have to watch the steps as there is no gate. It's right next to the interstate so that's a bit loud, but the tenants were quiet. Every Thursday there is music and food vendors set up in the Town Center which is just across the street. This place makes me sad because you can see that it once was a beautiful camping site. Only about 1/4 of it is open now and you stay on an asphalt lot with some trees. There is nothing to do family-wise, but it's in a great location across from the library and the little town, and you can ride a bike about anywhere. Shopping is nearby. Beach is about 45 minutes away. Russian River is about 25. There is a sign on the road saying condos will be going up here, but I don't know when. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
This place is gross. I would not leave my dog their overnight, let alone my family. This place is broke down and very dirty. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This place was fun! Abundance of wildlife garnished (?) our campsite throughout our stay. What more can we say about this destination spot in the heart of the real wine country. Every amenity imaginable near by, including local massage parlor and convenient Indian gaming establishment. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Called for a description of the site, they said "park like setting". This place is a dump, with most of the units in the park full timers. Adjoins/is part of old mobile home park, mostly single wides. Sewage smell very prevalent. Cable did not work. We camped here in a Motorhome.
