The park is under new management. They are very friendly people, and very helpful. We had a problem with one of the jacks and immediately 2 men helped us and fixed the problem. We were there in a weekend and it was very quiet. The grassy area are still uneven but the management told us they are going to fix that this winter. They also are going to make more RV sites. It is absolutely worth stopping there. We camped here in a Motorhome.

The campground is in a lovely, quiet setting and, in summer 2009, had been for sale for some time. We were made welcome on arrival with help to site. Our site was lightly-shaded grass and very nice but with very uneven and sloping ground. You may be lucky and get an untroubled visit – that didn’t happen for us. One night local residents and the owner let off fireworks close to the camping area. That didn’t last too long but was somewhat surprising in a commercial campground. On another occasion, during the day, children and adults raced dirt bikes and ATVs in the campground, plainly unconcerned by the sign specifying 5 mph for safety. The campground was being used as if it were private land. At the weekend, in the early evening, the owner’s visitors began arriving. First a Class C parked untidily near to us and the noisy generator was started at 9pm – even though it had an electric pedestal! My complaint brought an explanation from the owner that the driver was likely 'stoned'. She woke the camper’s owner and the generator was stopped. After more visitors’ arrival, the house became noisy with loud red-neck music being played, some of it live, and easily heard at our site fairly close by. This music went on until the early hours of the morning, occasionally becoming much louder whenever doors were opened. It was after 2 am when the campground eventually became quiet. Such rowdy behavior on regular campgrounds would have resulted in campers being required to leave, but this behavior was down to the owner's friends. To repeat, all these activities were not from campers but from the owners and friends who descended at the weekend but may be there at other times. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This campground has a beautiful setting and is very peaceful. Friendly and very helpful Owner. Grassy, sloping sites may need considerable leveling. Limited shopping for fresh foods so come prepared. We were visiting friends in the area and enjoyed this campground very much. would definitely come here again. Laundry very good value. No TV service. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

Nice older park in a lush & green setting. The sites are grass & fairly level & easily accessed. Friendly folks in the office were very helpful & full of information about the area. There is a nearby lake & river for fishing or canoeing. We would stay here again if I can convince the mrs that fishing is a good thing. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

A real gem set amid the towering Cabinet Mountains along the Clark Fork River, just off Highway 200 at its intersection with the Bull River along Highway 56 in Northwestern Montana. Grassy sites, lots of room and shade, a short walk through the woods to the river, with a boat dock for swimming or fishing. The Forest Service maintains a public boat launch ramp half a mile away; the campground has a laundry on site, and its website says it all! We enjoyed the quiet, the friendly owners who live on site, and the price is right! Cell phone service is available from most carriers, too. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
