Very nice city owned campground next to local 9 hole golf course with bar and grill and city park. All gravel or grass back in sites in two areas - old section without sewer, but lots of shade, and new section with sewer connections and some shade. No AT&T phone service but Verizon works very well. We camped in a FHU site w/sewer and cable TV for $20/night. $2/night less for the no sewer sites. We would stay here again whenever in the area. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This city-owned park is next door to the Viking Golf Course in Strum, WI. It has added some new sites in the last year. The new sites are not blacktop as listed in an earlier post. There is a blacktop loop to drive through the new site area. Electricity on the 50 amp sites has low voltage. There are lots of piles of goose droppings as there is a large flock of geese that make this park their home. Several of the sites are open to the sky and you can use your satellite dish. Even with the low voltage and goose waste, we will be back again in 2008. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This city-owned park is next door to the Viking Golf Course in Strum, WI. It has recently been enlarged with another 20 or more sites. The new sites are blacktop. The "old" ones, which we prefer, are big enough for two large campers, with lots of shade. There is access to the ATV trails from the campground. The golf clubhouse serves lunches and evening meals, if you don't feel like cooking. This is a real bargain at $55 for a week's stay. People are very friendly. We camp here as often as possible, and just completed two weeks here. We bring our 4-wheelers and our golf clubs. We camped here in a Motorhome.
