Staff is very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately our phone navigator led us to the wrong place. If you use the road address, you will have better luck. We anticipated there being laundry facilities here, but there are NONE. This is a church camp of sorts, but it appears to be the off season, so only a few longtimers here and two of us overnighters. A nice country setting in a large grassy clearing surrounded by woods. Nice! We camped here in a Motorhome.
There is no office or camp host to check in with; all contact via phone; only a self check-in at the club house (with kitchen/tables) with a rate sheet posted and sign-in sheet provided, which was not advised when called. An RV group had sites with full hook-ups so other campers had to use other sites that have w/e only; those are along the road and in a field. The one perk was that a sliding scale is used for each additional night stayed. The Opry House was open on Fri/Sat. for dinner with a band but was closed by 9 p.m. Park has gravel roads and sites. Sites along the road have trees and can be tricky getting into except for end site. Note: If parking along the road near Opry House, your rig could be blocked by Opry guest vehicles. While the campground is quiet it was still a distance from town. If ever in the area again, we would not stay here but this is a good campground for RV groups. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
We stay here often, just to have a quiet place to stay without all the fuss. On the weekend they have live country music (sometimes name entertainers) and great food. It's quite a drive back into Pace for shopping, so take what you need before you go. We plan to go back very soon. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
22 full hookups sites in regular campground. 150 water & electric in overflow area/field setting. Nice clubhouse/meeting room. Very good country gospel show every third Friday night, sometimes with well-known guest singers. We spent a great weekend here with a group. Definitely one to experience! We camped here in a Motorhome.
