Park is still functioning (see comments in other reviews) and the only thing open in Penticton in the winter. Some permanents in back of the park. Has friendly staff. Just the basics: old campground. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
Apparently this RV Park is being run by a property management firm for the bank. Its previous owners went bankrupt. The water slides were torn down and all that remains is a mountain of dirt and weeds. There are better campgrounds than this one; Please take the time to look for a better one. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
What was a nice RV park, has now gone to seed. Former manager quit and the water slide has been torn down. Due to lack of RV sites in the Penticton area, park is crowded with full timers. Phone calls checking for availability are ignored and sites very small. Rate increases in July and August are over the top. Stay elsewhere if possible. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
This campsite really takes me by surprise. I was ready to turn around and leave coming from Alberta with big open space campgrounds. The big entertainment was when I enter the site and entertain the other campers with my backing up skills as a rookie campier. Wife say's left trailer goes right. The site was pack with kids, every five minutes you can hear one crying. Quiet at night and gates are locked at 11pm. My kids love it and the staff was courteous and friendly. Management was great, friendly, putting on activities for the kids, water spray fight. Great water slide next to the park but I was told it will be demolished for a future condo project. I will go back if the waterslide is still operational. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
