The rate is with senior pass. The park is almost closed down with only 32 of the 62 sites available. All of the restrooms are closed with the exception of the one at the end of the park. We didn't think we would ever get out of Oxford as the main road to the park was closed in town and the detour signs were very small and hard to see. After you get out of Oxford you have 14 miles to the park. The one bathhouse open had no hot water and the Corp personnel would not reset the beaker as the electrician was off on the weekend. Love the Government. Oh yes, forgot to mention all of the other restrooms that were closed had all of their air conditioners running. Don't you just love our tax dollars at work. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
The campground is located 14 miles Northeast of Oxford on Sardis Lake. When we were there they had just reconditioned the road and there was lots of loose gravel. Several of the power pedestals were in poor repair and our electrical breaker tripped during the night and we were unable to reset it. We had to move to another site the next day. We camped here in a Motorhome.
