The location is a few miles off the highway, but the extra miles are worth it. It is very quiet. The park has a variety of sites, from small and closely spaced to large and well-separated. I suggest looking around when you arrive and asking for one you like. Some are only suitable for small campers, others are large enough to accommodate any rig that is road-legal. There are several clusters of sites, so finding yours may take some time. The overall atmosphere was relaxing and comfortable. The gentleman manning the office the evening we arrived was a bit gruff. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a very friendly campground with both a treed area (sites 1-40) and an open area for groups (sites 40+). There are two playgrounds and a great swimming area with a slide! Many campers are there to golf, but if you are there to just enjoy the campground there is tons of space to play with the kids or to go bird watching. We had a tough time finding a map online but the staff are very helpful over the phone to find you the perfect site. Showers are free which was a plus and all sites have water other than the non service sites. This campground is small but has something for everyone. Would definitely recommend. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

We had a spot right on the lake, and it was great! Wonderful sunsets and nice breezes. The mosquitoes like the lake, too, though, so bug spray is handy. The sites are rustic, with dirt roads. That may not appeal to some, but we liked it. The hosts were pleasant and friendly. There are some seasonal / permanent residents. The campground has two parts: an open parking lot like area above the lake, and the more wooded section down where we were. We could have had 30 amp up in the big open aforementioned section but we chose to forgo A/C and have 15 amp down by the lake. We would definitely return. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

This regional park is about nine miles north of 16, about 11 miles from town. Almost every site seemed to be in use by a local who planted his trailer there for the season. We called the day before arriving, and the only site available was an electric-only 30 amp site in the field, across the road from the regular campground. This site cost $21CN, plus a $3CN daily park pass. There is a dump station. The regular sites have some combination of water, sewer, and 15/30/50 amp power. Most are small back-ins, accessed by narrow windy dirt interior roads. No big rig access for 90% of the sites. Aside from the 62 sits with some services, they have room for hundreds of RVs to dry camp on the grass, so you can always dry camp there in any size rig. There is a golf course and lake. Those must be the appeal. We will not return. Postal code: S0M 1M0 We camped here in a Motorhome.
