Nice park and very friendly and helpful owner. We stayed two weeks due to a mechanical breakdown. It was the busy season and sites were very limited. The owner had to have someone move our 5th wheel twice because the sites were reserved. As far as the campground is concerned, it is an older campground. Good electric but low water pressure. Satellite worked fine. Verizon data and voice signals were weak but not terrible. Beautiful area to visit. We enjoyed our stay. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
Easy access for big rigs, pet friendly, large level sites, no extra fees. Park is well maintained, clean and quiet. Owner is friendly, welcoming and accommodating. Park is walking distance to marina, Lake Superior beach, bar/restaurant, and candy store. We would stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Excellent RV park with Emily's restaurant, Knife River Candy, just across street from Emily's, Russ Kendahl's smoke fish shop, Knife River marina, and public beach access to Lake Superior. All above is with-in walking of RV park. Owner is hands on, most of the day in his office. Always to help and friendly. Four spots are 50 amp full hock up. You would be wise to call ahead. We stayed for 2 weeks and the 50 amp were taken every night. Some traffic in the area but well off the main highway to the north shore. Quiet at night. We will stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.
People were friendly, the restroom was clean, if you like to be close to the trailer next to you, this is the place to be. Some of the trailers were less than 4 feet apart. The 50 amp sites were in a gravel parking lot. We will not return. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
What a wonderful campground!! This was our first time staying here and we did not want to leave Sunday morning. The owners are great people and the location is perfect. We are already thinking of booking a month at this campground next year!! We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
