This park is better than Lake Superior Provincial Park, its sister park 150 miles up the highway. There are more Lake Superior view sites here and much more privacy between sites. This provincial park like others in Ontario, has its electric post so far away from the site that an extension is needed. We were able to get a 30amp ext. cord from the ranger after providing a deposit. Even though this park has serious root upheaval problems on the roads that need fixing and some tree trimming to keep from damaging skylights and air conditioner shrouds, it is still a fine place to stay and we would definitely stay here again. The closest Wi-Fii is a restaurant about 5 miles south on hwy 17. Good food and free Wi-Fi. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This was our first visit to this park in 14 years. I was able to book an electric site (pull-through, #123). This was one row back from the the lake. The site was pretty level with a good balance between sun and shade. In this area of the park (near the front), you can hear the traffic passing on the highway. The staff was very friendly and we had no problems during our stay. The beach is wonderful, even the water temperature was warm enough for a swim. They built another comfort station so there was little to no wait for the showers. We'll stay here again next time we're up in this part of Ontario. We camped here in a Tent Trailer.

Bring an extension cord for your electric if you don't have a very long cord; mine wouldn't reach (the outlets are between spots, and the spots aren't that close together). Mostly wooded, great bathhouses, wonderful beach. Reserve early (and hope) for waterfront, but other spots usually available. Right next to TransCanada highway, so can be noisy. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Huge campground on a beautiful sandy beach. Beachfront sites are fantastic. There are also some pull-through sites that are nice and convenient for just an overnight stay. There's a very nice, super large RV dumpstation, but it's in the back of the park rather than the front where you'd expect it. Sites had good privacy between them but bugs were an issue here because of that. It also seemed that the Bathhouse/Showerhouse seemed a bit small and a long walk for the hundreds of sites it was trying to serve. They really could use a couple more. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is a nice park in the woods and very isolated from everything. There is only one store close by and nothing else. The beach is very nice and the water is cold. There is a section for your dog on the beach as well as a party section and a quiet section. They show movies for the kids outside at night and there is endless nature trails for walking. The park is a little tight for the bigger units but we stayed in a forty footer with no problem. Try to get as close to the water as possible as the site close to the road can be a little noisy with traffic. I would camp here again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
