Finding a full-hookup site in the Cleveland area is not easy. When a major event is not taking place at the fairgrounds it provides a nice solution. The unadvertised campground is at the front of the park and requires some knowledge of how to get there. It is best to call the fairgrounds office in advance to arrange a stay although they do not take reservations. We were the only rig in the campground for the three nights that we were there. The grass was a bit long and damp due to some heavy rains, but the site was reasonably level (we had our choice of any one that we wanted) and the hookups worked. There are no amenities including no restrooms or showers, and no WiFi. The location in Berea is convenient to the southwest Cleveland suburbs and the downtown area and is close to I-71. It is the only decent option in the area. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This County Fairground is 4 miles south of the Cleveland airport. It's a perfect place to explore Cleveland from. It really should be listed under Cleveland rather than Berea. We were very happy here. It is quite, safe, clean, and the staff is friendly. You will be parking on asphalt and you get your choice of any open spot. Don't look for trees or any of the amenities associated with an RV Park. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Not a campground per se but a good place close to Cleveland. Sites (full hookup) are for carnival/fairground people but the Fairground people will allow others to use sites when nothing is going on. We found it to be very safe and convenient to Cleveland interests. We would stay there again We camped here in a Motorhome.
