We spent the month of June here again this year. We have spent at least a month here every year for the last 4 years. Great place to stay near the kids. The price I stated is the monthly Jackson Elks Members rate. It is higher for non-members, but still a real bargain. We do like the small park atmosphere while we are here. Lots are large and all grass. Nice walkway back to the Grand River for a beautiful view. Nice small clubhouse where you can meet with other park guests or take friends and family for a nice place to chat. We plan to return every summer as long as we are RVing. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
We stayed here last summer for a month and returned this summer. The park has added 1 more RV site and they are working on a small clubhouse. The manager is very friendly and will go out of the way to accommodate you. The price I quoted is for non-Elk Members. They also have a monthly rate that is very reasonable and includes electricity. Members of the Elks Club get a discount from this price. If you stay at the RV Park, you can go into the Elks Lodge which is nice, but it is a smoking establishment. The RV Park Clubhouse is a Non-Smoking room. This is still a very nice park to stay at while in Jackson, MI and visiting family and friends. We will return again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
This park is behind the Jackson Elks Lodge. It is on the edge of town near the intersection of I-94 and 127 North. Patrons of the park can use the Elks lounge and restaurant. This is a small park, but it is the nicest in the area with full hookups. They are planning to expand the park in 2008. They are open from May 15 to Oct 15. They also have monthly and seasonal rates available as well as reduced prices for Elks Members. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
