We have been camping for 36 years and we feel that this park was as nice as it gets. Before setting up, the owner personally took us around to see the available sites. We didn't ask for this. He was simply trying to please and make sure we would be happy. The entire park is paved, the sites are level, comfortable, and there is a nice grassy area between sites with tables and fire rings. The whole place was well groomed and immaculate. Wi-Fi was great, The park was quiet at night. The water and cable TV were great. The owners were very helpful; particularly, about recommendations and directions for Branson. There were nice activities for young children (hayride, karaoke, bouncing house). The kiddies were sure enjoying these things. This place is about 15 minutes out of Branson, convenient, and not congested. We will return! We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
I love this park. We have stayed in other parks in the Branson area, but we enjoy staying at this one the most. It is neat, clean, and sites are a nice size. There are activities for kids, but still quite enough for the adults. We were there cooking with our dutch ovens along with another couple and the owners of the campground and everyone in the campground was invited to join us for the great food. Yes, it is a few miles out of Branson, but alot of campgrounds are not in the center of a tourist area. Go enjoy Branson, then go back and enjoy the peace and quite at the campground. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
This is an great park. Lots of activities for kids. Yogi Bear makes appearances, planned activities for kids also. They have a new jump pillow that my grandkids loved. We were here on a very hot weekend and we all enjoyed the pool. Even though it is a Jellystone park, it is very quiet and relaxing for adults also. It is a few miles from Branson, but unless you want to do Branson 24/7 it is not a problem. All concrete roads and pad, clean bathrooms and excellent owners. We have stayed at several other RV parks in the Branson area and this is by far the best! Try this campground and I think you will agree. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
We stayed at this campground in a furnished cottage with our grandson. He had a great time in the pool and playing minigolf. The cottage is very attractive with a good layout. This is a quiet campground that is positioned well to visit many of the attractions in the area. I highly recommend this campground to all! We camped here in a Campground Cabin.
Spent part of Easter weekend at the park. Due to the weather and time of the year some items we couldn't use but here is what we thought. We were the only campers in the park, so some of these comments may not apply to summer crowds. We stayed in the front of the park (back seems to be mainly for long term). There is no shade, so make sure your AC is working for summer months. The sites are level but are pretty close to each other and some are short. We had to park our car elsewhere and we have a 32' trailer. The Wi-Fi worked fine at the site and the free cable included the "standard" base package. The staff was friendly but the store was closed from 11am-1pm which may change when crowds arrive. The kids (12,10,8) loved the new jumping pillow and would have used it more but the weather turned rainy. We also tried the new mining sluice and it was a hit. The bags are a little pricey at $5 but they all had around 15 gems or fossils in them. The facilities (bathhouse and showers) were spotless. Unfortunately the other activities were canceled due to the weather. We will probably come back if we can get another sale weekend. This year they were offering (3) weekends at $15 per night instead of the usual $50. I'm not sure I would be willing to pay the higher rate compared to other Yogi's. However the owners seen to be committed to adding new things. We camped here in a Motorhome.
The rate reflects a 3 day special. If you don't love this place, just sell your rig and give up because you can't be pleased. I don't usually consider how nice the staff is when rating a campground, but when the owner is as nice and helpful as his campground is manicured it is hard not to make note of it. Concrete roads, level concrete manicured sites are spotlessly clean. We will definitely be back. We camped here in a Tent Trailer.
This is our third time to stay in this park. We love staying here. The owners are so friendly and work hard at making your stay pleasant. This is the first time we stayed since becoming Jellystone. There were not any kids activities while we were here, but Yogi did make an appearance. I can not wait to bring my grandkids. This park is so neat clean and comfortable. Beautiful landscaping also. If you are looking for a quiet relaxing place close to Branson this is the place to stay. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
Great customer service & facilities - very friendly managers. Note that you will want to pick the east side for your site - the west side does not have many trees at all. The pool is nice but not large. The activities for kids are on the weekend, so we missed those by staying in the middle of the week. The drive into Branson takes over 20 minutes, which was a bit more than we expected (curvy, hilly, narrow roads). Nearly all sites are concrete & level. Cable works, but a bit fuzzy on many channels for our spot. The east side of the park has some nice trees, but is not like a state park. The look is more like a very nicely done city park. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
This is the first time we have stayed here, and we will definitely return if we come back to this part of the country. Super clean campground, with nice pool, and good store. The owners go out of there way to make your stay pleasant. We camped with our two children and they had a blast. Lots of activities for the kids on the weekends. The concrete pads and roads are a big plus, and the sites are good sized for a campground in a tourist attraction area. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
This park just became a Yogi Bear Jellystone Park. We have stayed before with our grandkids and we came back again. WOW: it's even better than before! They had Yogi cartoons every night, hay rides with Yogi, the pool and the rest rooms were spotless and the owners are just the best. The people they have working do a fantastic job. The firewood man delivers wood every night and they had a FREE, yes FREE, hot dog feed. These folks really know to treat their guests. We already booked for the 4th of July weekend. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This is the best park in the Forsyth/ Branson area for family and especially for the kids. Shoals Bend is now a Jellystone Park and the Memorial weekend was full of fun fun fun. The owners are very friendly and the staff made it special for all of the kids and adults too. Yogi was around for the Pledge of Allegiance to start the day and went to the campsites to greet all the kids and even took the hayride with the adults and kids later. Wow, how much fun was that for our kids. Yogi had pictures taken with all the kids and games were played all day. We had pancake breakfast and a hot dog cook out but then to end the day there was Yogi and a real clown to entertain the kids. We will return soon to this park for more fun. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This is a great campground for all the reasons mentioned by others, but for me it was a long drive from Branson, especially at night and after getting through Branson traffic. If I wasn't going to Branson, I would have given it a 10. Nice people. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
Immaculate campground with beautiful shaded spots. The owners are the best and make you feel like family. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a great campground. As soon as you visit the office to register you know this is going to be a great camping experience. The owners are friendly and helpful. The roads, pads and parking area are concrete and level. To have a level site in the Branson area is quite a treat! The bathrooms are the cleanest I have seen. We stayed in the park during a dutch-oven cooking clinic. There was lots of visiting among all the campers and all the good food cooked over the open fire was shared with everyone who wanted to try it. This is the best campground in the Branson area I have stayed at. We have visited the Branson area at least twice a year for 20 plus years, so we have stayed at a lot of the area campgrounds. This park is located a few miles from Branson, but still close enough to see the shows and attractions. Plus the area is beautiful so the drive is pleasant. Also, it does not have the traffic: taking a 5th wheel through Branson with all the traffic is not fun. The town of Forsyth is very close with groceries, food and gas available. If you want a great camping experience in the Branson area visit this campground. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
This is one of the cleanest Campgrounds we have ever stayed in. The staff went out of the way to make us feel welcome. It was quiet and out of the busy hubbub of Branson, yet convenient to everything. We would definitely stay again. It"s great!!!! We camped here in a Motorhome.
Boy, it's hard to add to the previous post's. Its been a while since we have stayed in a nicer CG than this. Nice pull-throughs, ideal for motorhomes, close to Branson but, out of the hustle of the city. Great owners and staff very friendly. Spotless baths and showers as well as the surrounding campsites. A perfect model for all campgrounds. We stayed 2 weeks and would come back again! We camped here in a Motorhome.
This is a very well maintained rv resort. The sites are concrete and level. The owners are on site, accommodating and very pleasant to talk to. They offer a breakfast on the weekends and other family oriented activities. It is an easy fifteen minute drive to Branson. We felt welcome and safe while camping here and will definitely return. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Very nice staff, called to make sure I was getting there without problems after I called once for directions. Clean level nice site, easy to get into, nice store with ice cream counter and pizza delivered to site if wanted! Quiet beautiful area, they are building a dog run, very well-maintained park. A bit off the beaten path, but about 15 minutes from Branson and well worth the extra drive. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
What a grand surprise! This resort is the cleanest, friendliest and quietest park that we have stayed in and 10 miles from Branson was just fine. The free cable TV and free Wi-Fi where great. Breakfast was good and a fair price, try a loaded waffle! We will return and we will tell everyone about this place. I can't say enough about this park. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
This is an excellent RV park. There is good spacing between most of the sites and the roads and sites are concrete and level. The park can handle big rigs without a problem. The bathrooms and showers were spotless. Wifi and cable are included in the cost of the site. Wifi was excellent but the picture quality of the cable TV was not the best. The owners and staff went out of their way to make our stay pleasant and enjoyable. It’s just 10 miles to Branson but the road is a two lane and very curvy road. In this price range, this is one of the nicest parks we’ve ever stayed at. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
The workers there were very pleasant and helpful. Nice paved slots for everyone. The bathrooms were so clean you could eat off the floor. They have new owners since the ad in trailer life. The had no pay phone to use and many cell phones do not work in this area. The good part was the pool area was very nicely kept and had piped in music. They had nice shade tree areas, alittle hilly and the cable was not too good. The wifi was great. The only downside of this park was how to get to it. It had a curvy road and you just have to take your time. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
Beautiful park. Everything was just spotless. The restrooms were the best. Sites were roomy. The staff west above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. We had stayed here many years ago, and vowed to never stay again, but heard about new owners and decided to check it out and were so glad that we did. Only about 15 mi. from Branson We camped here in a Motorhome.
The campground is a former KOA, but the price doesn't show that. One of the best campgrounds we have ever stayed in. Concrete roads and level concrete pads. The owners and staff were super nice. This is the fifth campground the owners have purchased and turned around. We could tell the difference. The bathrooms and showers were cleaner than the bathrooms at my home! We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
All of the sites and driveways were concrete and and pretty level. It was easy to drive around the campground in my 40' bus. Close enough to Branson, but not to close. The campground was very clean and quiet. We didn't get to use all of the facilities, but I can't wait to go back during the spring and summer to use the pool and hot tub. We camped here in a Motorhome.
