Great state campground! Super clean and nice. Only reason for the 9 is wi-fi and phone don't work well (Our wifi, campground does not offer) and no pull through sites. All sites are back in and noise does carry, so some groups can be loud. Also, they now charge $5 if you disconnect your tow car coming up the windy mountain roads, which is silly! It was clear it was our tow car, and we followed the RV in. Guess it's part of the way our state is trying to make up lost revenue. This books up fast as there are not a lot of electric sites. Sites are spacious and just plain nice! Thank you to the crew who really cares and takes care of it. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
This was our first time camping in a travel trailer and Dogwood turned out to be a great choice. We stayed mid-week because that was the only time we could get in. Everyone we met was friendly and the evenings and mornings were quiet and cool in September. The entire San Bernardino State Park is beautiful and is already pulling us to return in the fall. Very clean and a great experience. We will stay again. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

This is a wonderful campground! Just wish it had more spots for larger RVs with hookups too. It's very rustic, but nature at it's best. It's also very hard to get in, we certainly could use more RV available places to go around Lake Arrowhead area! It's well maintained and the staff has always been very friendly and helpful. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Good place to camp, very friendly staff, great affordable site, clean restrooms and showers. Only one draw back is the noise from highway 18, you can hear it especially in the morning. The high school is also located next to the campground so if they are playing football or if the band is practicing you hear that too. We enjoyed the football and the band! We will be back. The rangers told us that it is especially beautiful in the fall because the dogwood tree's are in bloom. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
