This campground is no-frills, but it is a perfectly adequate overnight stop. I was the only one there on that particular night. The normal cost is $14 for a night, but this had been discounted to $12 due to the water being off [because of sub-freezing temperatures]. Restrooms were closed because of this. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

This place was much cooler with the shade from its trees than the Bonanza Casino asphalt lot we tried before settling here. There is some road noise as the nearby intersection is a major one for trucks headed south on Hwy. 95. Not terribly objectionable though. AT&T worked ok. 30a power was good. Ground was relatively level. Drive slowly as there are some sandy areas near sites. Other than one tent, we were only people in campground. FWIW...the reg. board is just south of the dump station. We didn't notice it when driving in. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Great self-pay campground. The grounds are clean and it is within walking distance of a small casino, a DQ drive-in, and several other businesses. It was a great place to spend a night on our way through town - easy in, easy out. We didn't even have to unhook. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This county fairgrounds park is our regular stopover spot when traveling Highway 50 towards the west. It's cheap, shady, reasonably level and offers water/electric hookups with a nearby dump station. Restrooms and showers are nothing fancy but they are kept clean and as long as the rodeo or a horse show aren't in town, it doesn't smell too bad either! Did we mention it was $14? Such a great deal and we always feel safe. Fair amount of road noise so bring the earplugs or run the a/c to drown it out. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

We were scared to death at this place. About midnight a car pulled up right behind us with lights blazing into our camper. It woke us up, and when we realized it was not another camper, we sat up straight in bed. Then this car pulled within inches of us and drove by. We could barely sleep the rest of the night. In the morning another camper, also scared, suggested that they were checking license numbers to see if you paid by envelope. Next time I will skip this place! We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is a very convenient stopover campground along Highway 50. Run by the city, the Churchill Fairgrounds are first come/first serve and availability depends on whether events are scheduled at the fairgrounds such as the Pro Senior Rodeo. Grass sites are shaded by big cottonwood trees. Electric and water service at each site along with a trash can. Nearby restrooms were very clean and showers are also available. There is some road noise but not terrible. Access is easy and just about any size rig can be accommodated. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
