$23 is full rate, we paid $11.50 senior rate. Reservations taken and recommended. We could only book 4 nights and could not get any extra nights while here. This place is booked solid in the summer. Great base for seeing the east side of the park. Potable water is at the dump station on the way out. We were able to make the swing around the attendant booth after checking in with no problem. Then a short ride back to the visitor center to turn around. As reviewed, sites can be tight, took some doing to get positioned so our slides could go out. We camped here in a Motorhome.
We loved this campground. Lots of good easy hiking out of it, with the opportunity to see wildlife. We saw one black bear and a couple of moose in the lake 10 minutes (hiking) from our campsite. There is a store for supplies with in a few steps and the prices were right. Both days we hiked over to Many Glacier Hotel and the second day we took the boat trip with hike over to Grinnell Lake: really nice. We really hated to leave and would go back again in a heartbeat. We camped here in a Motorhome.
No hookups & the sites weren't the easiest to get level on, but this is a National Park campground and those things were expected. Such a beautiful campground with easy access to some of the best hiking in Glacier National Park. If you want to experience the best of GNP, this is a great place to camp. Wish it had reservations, but would try camping here again before going anywhere else in the area. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Many Glacier Campground is our favorite in Glacier National Park, and since it is also first come-first served, and very popular, you have to get there about 9-10 AM to get a site. There are very few sites that accommodate big rigs (>25’), but there are a few. There is great wildlife viewing in the campground We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
