Great place to stay for us as we have family in the area. Pleasant stay out in the country. Owners do all they can to make your stay pleasant. We could not receive satellite due to trees but other than that, it was good. We would definitely stay again in the future. We camped here in a Motorhome.
The owner of this place is about the nicest guy you could meet, and that's why he got a 7. Really this place is in transition - he's got some work going on, and some expansion of the pond and that will help make this place a little nicer. Just a basic spot to put your rig while you visit your kids at ECU. (which is about 10 minutes away). Not very level lots, but tons of water pressure and 50 amp service. The lake is LOADED with turtles and I managed to catch a little brim (no bass or catfish - but I was told they are in there). Again, this is just a basic spot, but with the big old trees, the small man-made lake, the location close to ECU and just a really, really nice guy running it, it's worth a good rating. We camped here in a Motorhome.
I took the advise of the previous reviewer and was glad I did. The owner was extremely helpful and friendly. He explained that eventually there will be 8 sites all facing a lake that he is currently digging. The location is off the beaten track but easy to get to on US 264 from either Greenville or Washington. We were situated so that our satellite worked well and there were several local TV stations that came in. This is also an RV service and supply center. We camped here in a Motorhome.
What a well kept secret! This is an overnight park only! I really want to make that clear. The owner is very nice and bent over backwards to help us. He is working diligently to make more sites available. He even has an RV repair service available on site. (No engine work though.) There is a nice dumping station. This location is close to Greenville and ECU for parents that want to bring their children for visits as prospective students or for someone who wants hook ups when attending a Pirate Game. There are no shower or bathroom facilities so you have to be self contained. Nice shade trees and lots of grass. It is in a great location about 1 mile off of HWY 264 East of Greenville. Directions on his website are very accurate. We will definitely be back to visit. We camped here in a Motorhome.
