Beautiful area! Summer weekends get crowded with a party atmosphere. They have canoe and raft rentals for floating. The "beach" area is a great place to hang out at once the floats trips have shoved off for the day, it's an easy walk as it's part of the campgrounds. Bathrooms seem to be keep as clean as possible for all the people that were there the weekend that we stayed. Watch for lower hanging branches if you have a larger RV or motorhome. Sites appeared to be mostly dirt or gravel. We camped here in a Motorhome.
A beautiful park! The park sits on the Black river, although RV sites are not on the river. Most RV sites are water and electric only, with one dump station available as you leave the park. Some of the sites are very difficult to get into if you have a big rig; watch those overhead branches! They do have a few pull through sites, but even some of those are better to back in and out of to avoid the many trees. This place gets busy in the summer, so you probably should call ahead. I've had some trouble with the electric boxes over the years; the place could use a few repairs. Free, abundant firewood most of the time. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
