What a disappointment this park was for us. Check in was awkward as the waitress in the restaurant had to check us in. There are no rules in this park, and no one onsite to assist when people get loud at night. There are no real RV sites. Everyone just parks helter skelter because it is a big meadow with only grass sites. If you are lucky the people who pull in next to you will give you room to walk beside your RV. You can only run one a/c even when it is 100° outside. They do not disclose this fact when you make reservations, or even when you check in. They inform you after you have paid and are connected. Being assured we could use our satellite in the spot we were assigned, turned out to be incorrect. The people next to us were in the same situation. There is no cable, so if you enjoy hearing what's happening in the world, don't stay here. We ate at the restaurant once and it was so bad we never went back. On a positive note, the hummingbirds are fun to watch. We pray that we will never, ever have to even think about staying here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Very peaceful and quiet place to stay. Owners very friendly. Restrooms, showers and laundry room are clean. Restaurant meals are excellent. We stayed here for a month so rate was cheaper. Would stay here again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
It's great being .8miles from freeway = no noise! Setting is beautiful in a field surrounded by trees a stone's throw from a river. Bathrooms are clean. Showers small but adequate. Restaurant on site w/ great menu. Will try killer bacon tomorrow morning. Would stay here again in a heartbeat! We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
This was a quick overnighter off of I-90. I wish we had more time and could have stayed longer as it was a very pleasant little place. They have a wonderful restaurant which also serves as the office for the campground. The food is fantastic and everything is homemade. We had homemade raisin bread, homemade jam, freshly made hash browns and they even cure their own bacon. It was a real delight and I hope we can go there again. We camped here in a Motorhome.
An average campground. I had Wi-Fi from somewhere and it was fast. About 12 wild turkeys roam the campground begging for food: not too wild as they will eat off your hand. We saw some very large deer or something, one had more than 12 points . Not much to do here except eat in their restaurant which was outrageously priced. I had the salmon dinner and the wife had roast pork at a cost of $16.95 each without drink. I would come back as it is a nice park for a few days stay. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
This is a simple campground in the woods that can host a variety of functions. Camping spots are all on grass, may or may not be level. Sites, which consist of both pull through and back in, are rather close together. However, there weren't many there when I stayed, so not bad. The electric poles are either 50 amp or 20 amp, so if you are on a 30 amp cord, you will need an adaptor. Warning, the 20 amp connection is upside down, so your cord will have to be "bent back." I did detect a WiFi, which I used (and it worked for my purposes), but I don't know if the WiFi belongs to the park. Decent restroom, shower, and laundry facilities. You check in at the restaurant. Price shown is before taxes. I felt $30 was a bit overpriced for what you get. However, I must recommend the adjoining restaurant. Excellent, world class food for a small restaurant. Dessert included in the meal price. We camped here in a Motorhome.
