Campground is located next to Hwy 43 so expect some traffic noise 24/7. Nicely situated in the trees. Seems to be clean and reasonably quiet. Very close to town so all supplies and services are readily available within 5 minutes drive. Pull thru sites are located close to highway in an open area. Other sites large enough for big rigs are back in only. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This is an easy on/off the highway. They are located right next to the Forestry History Museum. The sites were wide and plenty of room for back ins. They were gravel, solid, and surrounded by trees. The hook ups were slightly toward the rear, but a 25 foot hose was plenty. The restrooms were clean. The staff was very helpful about local things to do in Whitecourt. We would stay here again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
The big rig parking is near the highway so expect road noise. They do not have WiFi and when asked said they have never had WiFi. The site was somewhat level, wide and long enough. The drive to our site was somewhat narrow through some trees. It worked for the night. We camped here in a Motorhome.
A great park. Lots of space. Heavily treed with fir and spruce, providing lots of shade. Would definitely stay here again. The only drawback is the highway right next to it. Full time caretaker. He makes sure everything is neat and clean. We camped here in a Motorhome.
