The Good: Clean park, nice grassy sites, and nice views of the lake. I got some awesome sunrise photos. Close to town, shopping, gas, food, etc. Our Verizon aircard had a good signal. Local Police have a strong presence in the park. The park was quiet except for one weekend night that had a lot of campers that stayed up all night. The Bad: The Wi-Fi is not free. It's $5/day if you buy by the week. It seemed fast during my trial period but I didn't want to pay for it. The bathroom and showers were decently clean but aging & not in that great of condition. Showers are pretty small & with a curtain that doesn't cover the entire door opening. The sewer hookups were the oddest we have seen. The connections are 10" off the ground and without a threaded top. I had to use a bungee cord to keep my connector from slipping off and still had to walk the contents down the hose since it was all lower than the final connection. The fire rings are buried without a flag or anything easy to forget and drive a wheel through. Be careful! Overall a nice park if not just a tad over-priced. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This was a tough one to rate, so allow me to clarify a few things. First, we would stay here again. Regarding the bathrooms and showers, they were clean enough to use, just outdated and absolutely no ventilation. They were terribly stuffy/moist. We stayed in site 21 which is right on the road. It wasn't really all that noisy since this is a small town, but it is still a road and still very close. Other sites would be better. Sites are somewhat close together. Electricity and water pressure were both plenty good. The sites were fairly grassy with a little sand/dirt here and there. They were mostly level sites. Sites were mostly shaded, however ours was only shaded for short time. The beach area is pretty nice. Again, we would camp here again. We just felt it could use some improvement. The staff was pleasant. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

There's a nice beach with playground equipment. Also a dog run. This is our second visit and all went rather well. There's a Glen's market two blocks away, right next to a McDonald's. You're about 14 miles from Charlevoix. Lots of shaded sites. Roads are asphalt with dirt sites. No pull-throughs. Sites are quite wide. We have two slide outs on our 34 foot trailer and had plenty of room. Would stay here again. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Shady sites with 30amp/water/sewer. Cable TV was nice. Staff was inexperienced. It seems to attract noisy campers so beware. However, I would stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Nice clean campground right on Charlevoix Lake. Nice beach with play area. Site map here; http://www.eastjordancity.org/tparkmap.html Pets are allowed. Paved roads with some paved site pads. No pull thru sites. 70 Sites are full hook-ups (E-W-S). Each site has a fire pit. Some sites are shaded. All sites are wide enough for slide outs. Wi-Fi is available $$$ ($25 a week) and it's SLOW!! There's a Glen's supermarket and drug store right in town (About 1/2 mile). Would definitely stay here again. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
