Staff was friendly. The sites are a bit cramped, some better than others (we stayed in #13 which was pretty tight). Our picnic table was in terrible shape, wobbly and up on blocks. Power was excellent, held 120volts and 60hz very consistently. It appears that each 'wheel' has it's own transformer fed from underground high voltage. The begging deer were rather annoying, 2-3 times a day they're in camp begging: and of course receiving treats from the campers. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

This place is not well maintained at all. Sites are not even close to level & are all dirt. But it is centrally located and does have hook ups. They do take reservations so you are assured of having a spot. So if you are going to fish or sight see, and don't plan on staying at camp much, it is fine. We camped here in a Motorhome.

On the positive side, the staff are friendly and there is nice hiking in the area. But the campground is very stark, with no shade and it was very hot during the day. The winds kick up in the afternoon so it was not possible for us to keep our awning up for shade. It was fun to have a fire at night, which you can't do in some parts of California due to fire danger. Bathrooms were in need of cleaning. We would not return. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Rate shown is for full-hook ups (no TV), they offer no discounts. As you are driving in on Twin Lakes Road, the RV Park and laundry/shower building come first, do not turn in, continue another 1/4 mile to the Twin Lakes Resort store/office to check-in. They assign you a site and you drive back to the RV Park area. All sites are back-in, semi-level dirt, with no shade. You get a picnic table and fire-ring, they sell wood at the store. Additional fee for showers ($2 in only quarters for 5 min's) and Wi-Fi is $6 per day via Tengointernet. Showers were old and not clean. This is more of an adult setting, quiet with just RV's, and the lake is 1/4 mile away, compared to Annette's Mono Village which is more kid friendly, lake front, noisy, crowded, so you decide. The deer stroll through the campground and come right up to you looking for hand-outs. Well stocked store with fishing supplies and boat rental. Boat rental rates are less expensive on Upper Lake versus Lower Lake, don't know why, as both lakes are stocked with fish. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed here while checking out the Bridgeport area of California. This is a beautiful area of the eastern sierras. We would love to stay here again. We plan to return, hopefully next year. The Laundry facilities are wonderful! The convenience store is great! We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
