Extremely friendly staff. We were parked next door to the owners home. There are a lot of full timers and some of the units not to pretty. Having said that we never felt unsafe. This park is an oasis in the middle of a suburban neighborhood. Lots of pets around, but no green grass for their use. Our old dog did not have any trouble with using the blacktop but the younger dog would not use it. We had to go off grounds for her. It is a convenient place to park if you are going to visit San Francisco. The transit station is close by if you are smart enough to understand how to use it. I believe the way to visit San Francisco is to fly in, rent a hotel and transportation and leave the RV at home. If we were in the area again and needed to stay a night or two in the area, we would stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.

This is not a "resort" type facility by any standard, but OK for a few nights visiting family in the area. The "daily" sites are toward the front, with the rest being long term residents. That being said, it was a quiet spot in an urban environment. There aren't many choices in the Bay Area, and this was fine for a few days. This place has been around for 75 years! Very helpful staff. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

We stayed here for 3 nites to visit San Francisco. We would definitely do it again. The location is fabulous, as it's close to BART and the town has restaurants, grocery store and easy access to freeway. Their directions to the park are good, but address is hard to find online. It's 2399 E 14th St San Leandro, CA. We were concerned about how easy it would be to get into the spot with our 40 ft RV, but they gave us a large, level back in spot with plenty of room for the car and our 4 slides. Plenty of street width to back in easily. We did unhook our tow on the street, but could have unhooked in the park. Office person was very helpful & had someone go to the space before us to be sure it was okay. Tenants in park were friendly. My only issue was having to walk the dog on the street outside the park but then this is an in town RV park, so it was expected. We would definitely come back again, as it was the perfect spot to park to sightsee San Francisco and the price was one of the least expensive parks in all of California. We camped here in a Motorhome.

Absolutely the nicest people I have had the pleasure of meeting. Family run MHP, and they have quite a few RV spaces, mostly in the front part but also some through the park. This place reminds me of the little neighborhoods of Philadelphia. Pretty, especially at the front near the office. No amenities, though, but they tell me they are building new shower/restroom facilities. Wi-fi is fantastic at the office. I stayed here 2 weeks and wish it could have been longer. Town/shopping are close and so are BART stations. I loved it here. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Not much to say as it is the only game in town. We got the last of three sites. Were meeting family and going to the ballpark, so we needed something in the area. San Leandro wasn't bad, but it's not somewhere you normally think of camping. Mostly full-timers and people renting RVs for a vacation. No WiFi. Close to food and some shopping. Don't know that this part of town is somewhere I would want to stay for a long period. VERY CLOSE to your neighbor. Some tricky maneuvering in a 30 footer. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

We were there for 10 days visiting relatives. The park is mostly a mobile home park but has several RV sites (10 or more) for overnight or extended stays. Paved slabs and gravel parking. Good shade trees around area. Mostly working families in the park and very friendly staff and neighbors. We and the dogs made friends within hours of parking. The address is 2399 E 14th St San Leandro, CA 94577. A great RV supply store is up the street at 15180 E. 14th and downtown San Leandro has a wide variety of restaurants. Besides no cable another negative (or positive to some) was the smell of roasting chocolate. A chocolate factory is near by and the smell, when the wind was right, reminded me of someone burning brownies. Not a strong smell but noticeable. Another issue for some will be the working folks getting up and on the road each morning. I was up walking the dogs anyway but, if you like to sleep in, you would hear cars, trucks, and motorcycles going by each morning. I liked the place and will return on my next trip to the Bay area. Not an RV resort though. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
